STALLIONS
Stallions
We select our stallions according to trainability and disposition, conformation and movement as well as their ability to produce in regards to their genetic makeup.
We do believe that outstanding foals are produced by according crosses!
It is not the stud or the mare but the thoughtful cross that makes the difference.

Stallion Prospects
Our benchmark for stallions is set extremely high and these prospects have to master more than one challenge to become a "Junior Stallion". Selection is the key to evolution and in order to improve our program continuously we only keep the best ones. Once a stallion has made it to the "Senior Stallion" stage, he has proven himself as a horse (trainability, conformation, athletic ability) and as a stallion (disposition, offspring quality).
Our current stallion prospects are "Tiago" and "Nugget Junior".

Reference Stallions
I was lucky to start out my breeding career in 2005 with the silver grullo stallion Ka Cee Smoker. He was a very gentle, well-mannered stallion who sired beautifully colored foals. "Smoker" has a great working horse conformation, good bones and feet and his athletisism and my riding skills were a good fit! He was started with Parelli Horsemanship, shown at local Fall Fairs and then finally in 2013 and 2014 successfully shown by Lisa Mayer in AQHA Open Ranch Riding and Reining. As "Smoker" tested positive for PSSM, he was gelded in 2015 and enjoys his second career as a gelding! We have several of his mares still in our broodmare band.
In 2011 I aquired Scottish Five Bar when he was already 18 years old. I followed "Scotty" over years and admired that he produced extremely consitant offspring with a really nice conformation. "Scotty's" foals have a fan-club across North America and for a good reason! He was a very fast and tremendously quick stallion with an extremely kind personality. His foal all inherited his thick mane and tail and his outstanding athletisism. Some also inherited his beautiful champagne color and his mares are excellent broodmares! An excellent son of him stands in France, Europe, at stud and produces good looking offspring! His legacy lives on!

In the Spring of 2016 I bought Enough Irish Whiskey. He impressed me with his conformation, his versatility and his pedigree! Over half of his foals from very limited foal crops are performers and follow into the footsteps of their sire. We call him "Nugget" and he is an incredible sweet, respectful and kind stallion with a big heart. He lives with his pony friend "Andy" and produced many good and successful foals over the years!
In the Spring of 2016 two of my mares dropped foals by Haidabilly. In the fall of 2016 I purchased the old and already quite crippled Haidabilly in hopes to breed some more mares to him in 2017. He had amazing care and we made sure he still was able to enjoy life as much as possible but his health was declining... He was an incredible individual and despite the short period he was in my life, he made a profound impression and is greatly missed. We are looking forward to seeing his fillies in the show pen!
In 2018 our stallion prospect RVVR Joe ChexN bred one mare before he was gelded and started under saddle to proceed a show career. He would have made a nice stallion and is bred to perform and produce.
